Biting All The Apples is the podcast that holds the power of one million aunties, the ancestral spirit of all the librarians, historians, suffragettes, and lady rodeo trick riders that came before us. We're people that'll serve you a book in hard times, but that's because we know we've all been raised on the wrong books. This podcast is here to make up for lost time.

Your hosts JV & SK, two wise women of the world currently stationed in small town USA, discuss the greatest book hits of radical history, feminism, and culture - in the context of these crazy times. We're always looking for meaning, direction, and uncovering stuff we didn't know.

Season one channeled the sassy wisdom of long dead victorian feminists to analyze the puritanical influences still messing with our world today. Week by week, we combed through the 1895 best seller "The Woman's Bible" by Elizabeth Cady Stanton and friends to uncover the patriarchal slop job (aka: biblical translations) that muddied everything up for us all the way to present day where we have an administration waging a holy war across the globe.  Yes. They tried to warn us 130 years ago.

Season two will feature more books, opinions, and quite a few chuckles.  On deck: The Great Cosmic Mother, Binding Chaos, and Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men - just for starters. We're open to suggestions from listeners.

Biting All The Apples is great listen for anyone interested in the patriarchal influence in religion, politics, and social order. As well as anyone that is GenX or any generation, anyone that likes comedy, books, history, and thinkin.
